Day 36

Poetic goal of the day: Honor the first peoples of the Americas through a still life.
It feels only right to honor the 500 native nations of the Americas when honoring the Americas during the confinement. This still life was of course made of what I found around the house:  a Louise Erdrich book I love (with Fritz Scholder painting), my smudge sage and some greasewood ointment.
