On the roof

An impressionistic painting of our view onto the roofs of downtown Montpellier. I painted it on a found piece of cardboard from this same neighbourhood.
This idea of painting on a surface found in the same neighbourhood wasn't just because it was economical. It was to organically capture the places essence and the creativity that issues from an imposed surface.
